Both of these houses are in excellent condition, but both have suffered a decline in historic integrity, because they have lost a great deal of their original detail. While the original scale and massing remain, all of the original windows and doors are gone. Much of the original siding has been covered with vinyl siding. The covered siding may have been wood shingles or stucco: no hint remains. The shape of the porches and columns remain.
