The 83rd Historic Boston Edison Association, Annual Dinner will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010, at the Model T Automotive Heritage Complex, located at 461 Piquette Avenue, Detroit
Guests will see where Henry Ford developed the Model T, and where the first 12,000 Tin Lizzies were assembled. The Ford Piquette Avenue plant is mostly unchanged from its original
appearance, and the exterior of the building has the original red brick, complete with the original fire escapes and windows. You will have the opportunity to view many vintage cars, which will inspire and entertain visitors of all ages.
The third floor resembles the operating plant as it ran in 1905, it is virtually unchanged, and has never been painted since Ford Motor Company left in 1910. A gift shop containing Model T memorabilia is also available.
The dinner is open to all, attire is casual, bring your walking shoes.
The cost is $35.00 per person or $280.00 for a table of eight. For more information please contact Mary Howard 313-869-2357, or the Board Member in your zone for tickets. You may also purchase your tickets below using PayPal. Tickets must be purchased no later than Tuesday, May 11, 2010.
