Boston-Edison Residents! Join us for an afternoon filled with food, prizes, games, a pooch parade, a dessert contest, children/youth activities and of course, neighbors both new and "established"! Spirit Beads to represent your street will be distributed. Let's see what street will win this year with the most neighbors attending. There will be special Spirit Beads for our new neighbors so they are easily identified and we can give them a BIG Boston-Edison welcome.

**NEW** HBEA will provide a catered meal by Jackson Five Catering of hamburgers, hot dogs, basic side dishes and beverages. Vegetarian options will also be available. In exchange for providing the meal, we are asking neighbors to volunteer to bring a dessert, and if you'd like, to participate in the dessert contest. (Details below.)

Raffles are every hour starting at 2:00 for all attendees with additional raffles for dues-paying members! Prizes include a Detroit Tigers' autographed Miguel Cabrera photo, a Michael Fulmer autographed baseball, gift cards and more! Click here if your dues are not current.

Enter your signature cake, pie, cookie or other sweet treat for a prize and bake-off bragging rights in our first annual Dessert Contest! A panel of judges will select winners for each of the categories below and picnic attendees will select Overall Best Dessert!

Make sure there is enough to be divided into small portions for about 50 tasters. Winners will be featured with their dessert in the next HBEA newsletter, on our Facebook page AND receive a $25 gift card!
