HBEA Annual Meeting and Elections

Onsite voting ballots accepted between 6:30—8:00 p.m.

Candidate Speeches (for contested positions) and Financial Review begin at 7 p.m. Light refreshments served. Great raffle prizes (must be present to win)!

All dues paying members are welcome and encouraged to attend. If you are not current on your dues, you may pay at the door or with PayPal.

ELECTIONS PROCESS Voting will be held on May 25th at the Annual Meeting at Sacred Heart Seminary. This year, there are five Director positions to be filled by election at the upcoming Annual Meeting. They are:

• EDISON Zone A (Between Woodward and Hamilton)
  
• LONGFELLOW Zone A (Between Woodward and Hamilton)
  
• CHICAGO Zone A (Between Woodward and Hamilton)
  
• W. BOSTON Zone A (Between Woodward and Hamilton)
  
• AT LARGE Zone A (Between Woodward and Hamilton)

After submitting your ballot, please stay for our special guest speakers: Kim Tandy, District 2 Manager and Maurice Telesford, Sherwood Forest Association President. Mr Telesford will share his experience with the new City of Detroit Special Assessment District (SAD). Sherwood Forest was one of a handful of neighborhoods to be part of this first SAD cohort. He will describe the process and explain details regarding the creation of these unique neighborhood service agreements.
