Motor City Makeover | Boston-Edison District Beautification Event

This year the City of Detroit's annual citywide volunteer cleanup and beautification initiative, Motor City Makeover will take place in the Historic Boston-Edison District on Saturday May 29th!

To celebrate, the HBEA will be supporting any neighborhood groups that wish to participate with tools, dumpsters and lunch for all those who register... but you'll need to let us know about your plans soon!

We are encouraging all block clubs and/or residents who live along a HBEA boulevard, open space or park to come out to meet neighbors, from a safe distance, and help clean up our neighborhood.

IMPORTANT!
Please fill out the order form (click to download) and submit via email to phaden@historicbostonedison.org no later than May 26th to ensure that your block club or neighbor group receives the necessary materials needed for the cleanup. 

The HBEA will provide face masks, bags, mulch, topsoil, lunch, and safe social distancing guidelines to practice to residents who participate in the cleanup.

Your HBEA Beautification Committee looks forward to seeing you out at a safe distance on Saturday, May 29th, 2021!
