Join us for a fun time with neighbors, family, and friends in Boston-Edison for the second annual HBEA Halloween Costume Parade on Sunday, October 31 at 3 pm.
Costumes are encouraged for children and participating adults as we walk together on the sidewalk for a few blocks in the neighborhood. Neighbors are invited to watch and wave to participants along the route, which is West of the Lodge this year. Children will receive a goodie-bag of treats at the end of the parade at Gordon Park. Families are welcome to stay at Gordon Park or stop by The Congregation following the parade.
Please meet promptly at 3 pm at the corner of Chicago Blvd and Rosa Parks/12th street to line up on the sidewalk and head west to 14th street. Parking is available on Rosa Parks and Chicago Blvd. The route then continues east on Edison until turning south to Gordon Park and The Congregation.
HBEA gladly accepts donated candy to be handed out at the end, and is seeking volunteers to be crossing guards and to distribute the goodie-bags at the end of the parade. Contact Cassi via cmmeitl@gmail.com, or 708-212-0524 if you would like to volunteer or to drop off candy.
All ages are encouraged to participate. This is a Boston-Edison (Glynn Court and Atkinson) resident-only event.
• Porta-Potties will not be provided along the parade route or at Gordon Park
• Rain Date: Saturday, November 6 at 3 pm
