This beautifully restored house in Boston Edison has high historical integrity. The tile roof still is in place, as are the original porch and columns, windows, doors, and shutters. The front steps and brick side walk are in good repair. The chimney is straight and tall.
The yellow brick house also is in good condition. It has more intricate design and details - and it's all still in place and in good repair.
The porch has a decorative cast iron railing and columns with detailed capitals. The front steps have been maintained. The front door side-lights are in place. There are stone windowsills and decorative stone work above some of the windows. The original windows have a combination of 8/1 and 6/1 arrangements of windowpanes.
