Cris Canas formed his popular band to bring soul & funk infused blues not only for the seasoned die-hards, but also to attract young listeners to help keep the blues alive. His influences include: BB King, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton, Jonny Lang, Prince, Little Milton, Freddie King, Albert Collins, Stevie Ray Vaughn, and a host of old and new school “cats”. Whether dark, playful or in your face jammin', Chris’ presence on the stage commands attention from all sides of the room. Ambitious, yet down-to-earth, this is blues meets funk meets neo-soul.
