"Sounds of Music" Concert Series: Detroit Youth Concert Choir and Performing Arts Company

This award winning vocal ensemble has been mesmerizing audiences since 2001 under the leadership of Anthony White and Stephen Shepherd. Their talents have taken them around Michigan, across the United States and into Canada. Their discipline and showmanship has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Spirit of Detroit Award. The students expertly perform various styles of music including Classical, Jazz, Spirituals, Gospel, Foreign language music, Rhythm & Blues, Rock and Broadway. Audiences of all ages will thoroughly enjoy the Detroit Youth Concert Choir’s presentation. Punch and cookies will be served after the performance. The Detroit Youth Concert Choir will be held at the Blessed Sacrament Community Center, 150 Belmont St., Detroit, MI. Tickets can be purchased in advance and at the door for this concert only.
